There has been a growing trend in the number of South Africans moving to residential estates for various reasons including a lifestyle change, state-of-the-art security measures, family-orientated facilities and amenities, and community living. However, homeowners need to be aware that most estates have rules and regulations pertaining to pet ownership, and some don't allow pets at all. It is advisable to find out which ones are pet-friendly before you move. Here is a list of popular 'pet-friendly' estates:
